There is never a single type of pain which is acceptable. Everybody experiences pain differently. I believe that women have a higher tolerance of pain, because they experience excruciating pain when giving birth. I’m glad I’m not a woman! However, let me tell you about my latest experience with pain. One morning last week I woke up and could not move! It seemed as though my back was locked on to my bed. There was no movement at all. I managed to drag myself out of bed, got dressed, managed to get myself to the local hospital where he I had an emergency session with the resident doctor. He diagnosed Back Pain Arthritis. Fortunately this is not too serious.

Avoid P2p
January 31st, 2008 — Miscellaneous
So you are downloading movies from the internet. I really hope that you stay away from P2P sites and only download movies from legal websites. If you do, stop it! You will be in big trouble soon. Authorities are behind people downloading pirated movies. It is easy for them to track people by using their IP number. You don’t want to go to jail, do you? So avoid P2P sites and have a look at legal movie download websites. Better be safe than sorry! These legal movie download sites usually only charge a onetime fee of about $30 for one year. It is definitely worth it.
Information About Grand Canyon Mule Rides
January 31st, 2008 — Reference
If you want to go on a Grand Canyon mule ride then you should also be aware that there are certain rules and requirements relating to the adventure. Safety aspects are paramount. Children as well as people who are less than 200 pounds in weight can not go on rides. Height restrictions also apply and anyone who is shorter than 4 feet 7 inches in height is excluded. Because of the strenuous nature of the Grand Canyon Mule Rides, pregnant women are also not allowed to participate in the activity. It stands to reason therefore that only people with no medical ailments who are in good health and physical condition can be allowed on these trips. Temporary muscular and bodily aches and pains may result from the ride and it is worth noting that the sun can be a factor.
Get a dog urn early…
January 31st, 2008 — Miscellaneous
What if your favorite pet dies? It is something that everyone knows is going to happen one day, although we put off thinking about it until the time comes. Say your sweet little dog has been a part of the family for years, and she is starting to get a bit older, personally I think that preparing for the eventual death of your cherished pet is a good idea, even if its not easy to do. I know that I’ve personally planned a bit ahead so that when the time comes, I’m not caught off guard by my emotions and get suckered by some sales person about what kind of dog urn I get for my little buddy Maxy. Its just a thought, to go ahead and do it now.

Are you at risk for diabetes?
January 30th, 2008 — Health
With the rise in people being diagnosed as diabetics, anyone should have at least a basic idea of weather or not he or she might be at risk for diabetes. You can find quite a bit of diabetes information online, but your primary source of information about this condition should always come from a health care professional.
You may be at rist for diabetes if you have a family history of this condition and if you are, or have been overweight. Being thirsty all the time is also a sign that your body may not be metabolizing sugar the way it should and warrants a trip to the doctor. There are some simple tests that can be done to determine if you are diabetic.
The effectiveness of herbal alternatives to relieve pain
January 30th, 2008 — Health
Pain can be a unbearable sensation. It can easily cripple you from doing your normal everyday activities. That is why people, as much as possible, try to avoid it. Being aware of this, a lot of people now are trying the effectiveness of herbal alternatives to relieve pain. One must remember that your doctor knows best. Before taking any type of medicine whether it is herbal or pharmaceutical, you should always consult your doctor. He or she is the only person who knows all about the status and condition of your body and what kind of substances will do well or harm to it. Herbal alternatives can be taken just like your pharmaceutical drug and do not require you to stuck needle in your body. Because of these reasons, herbal alternatives are more preferred than other alternatives.
Where in the world is South Dakota?
January 29th, 2008 — Arts
I made up a list of South Dakota Vacations once and it was easy. It was mostly easy because it was very short, but then again how long does it have to be? There are so few tourists that go there so why put any expense or time into the project. It’s not like I’m going to sell them on eBay and make my fortune. Oh sure, they have their things to see but they are so far into fly over country that no one really wants to go there. It’s cold and stormy in that end of the world and I don’t know why anyone even wants to live there.
Remembering that old Chinese gong
January 29th, 2008 — Arts
When I was in school, as a young budding percussionist in the middle school and high school bands, we had at our disposal one of the most individually unique sounding instruments in the world. Oddly, it was attached by a rope and was hanging from a large metal frame. The Chinese gong was, without a doubt, any young man’s, or young woman’s, favorite instrument to play. Usually, it was played at inappropriate times, inciting the wrath of the band director, but it couldn’t be helped. To be able to take a mallet and strike the gong was quite a unique experience, and makes me wish today that I had one in my house just to play with.
Nothing like jamming out on my remo djembe
January 29th, 2008 — Arts
There is nothing like jamming out with my buddies on my remo djembe. Fortunately for me, I found myself in the company of several excellent guitar players, and we really enjoy heading out to the local coffee shop and throwing down for the pleasure and enjoyment of the coffee shop crowd. Perhaps it is the smell of coffee that inspires us, or just the fact that there’s a live audience listening to us, but something about that place always drove us to come up with new beats, new rhythms, and completely new songs. Plus, the advantages of the remo djembe is that it’s extremely portable and it’s volume can be controlled.
KC here I come.
January 29th, 2008 — Sports
Look out Kansas City, hurricane John is coming to your area. I’m looking for Kansas City Missouri tourism spots to enjoy and review. I write a small column for a local paper in a town that is less than three hours away. Most everyone in town goes to Kansas City at least a couple of times a year and I want to find the places for them to go and enjoy the city. I went the best food spots – especially the barbeque spots. After all, Kansas City is fairly famous for it’s barbeque and I love to eat. So if you know of a good place in KC let me know!
