There have been many critics who have slated the Aptera for being too basic for our modern day living. Well I would just say that this is only the beginning of the Aptera car and it hasn’t started too badly. This first model has some nice amenities. They include air conditioning and a navigation system. A video camera with night vision provides a 180-degree view of what’s behind you because the back window is really narrow. The model that will be in production will have power windows, power locks and front and side airbags. It will be safe, light and easy to drive. Now I can cope with that.
