When we think about vehicles, most of us tend to assume that the newer a car is, the better it will be because it won’t have any problems with breaking down and other problems that you tend to see in older vehicles. However, does anyone ever think about or consider hybrid vehicles compared to used vehicles? Are used cars better than hybrids? This is a question that is often debated nowadays as the gas prices continue to soar upwards past the $4 mark. What are we going to do when gas prices reach 8 and 9 dollars a gallon? Will we still be driving as often as we are? What kinds of vehicles will we be purchasing and driving? Is there no end in sight? Recent studies have suggested that used vehicles may, in fact, be better than hybrids and that all the hype about hybrids is for nothing because at the end of the day, used vehicles get just as good gas mileage, if not better, than hybrids!
