Right after I finished school, I decided that I really wanted to be my own boss. I took a trip to Spain as a graduation present to myself, which is when I came up with the brilliant idea that has become my full-time career. When I returned to the States, I began work as a freelance Spanish-English translator. I work out of my home, so I do not pay much overhead. I deduct all of my Internet and phone bills as business expenses, and most importantly, I genuinely like what I do. I wake up each morning, check e-mails, call a few clients to see if they need anything, and then start on the day’s projects. I can break for lunch whenever I want or need to. It is the perfect job for me!
