A great family recreation area

About two years ago, my wife and I were getting estimates from various concrete driveways companies on the installation of a new driveway next to our home. Near the entrance of our home, and right next to the driveway is a big, old oak tree — and my wife had a thought: why not have a circular concrete pad installed around the base of the tree. We thought that was a great idea — and the driveway company didn’t have a problem with constructing this circular area. Now, in addition to our new concrete driveway we also have a nifty area where we can put our lawn chairs and picnic table — a place where we can sit and relax, and the kids can play to their hearts content.
