I was called to my 13 year old daughter’s school yesterday because her principal wanted to talk to me. I wasn’t concerned, she is an excellent student and has a good head on her shoulders. That is the problem, she has a little too much confidence and know-how for her own good. She was selling faux designer purses she bought on the internet to other students. When they couldn’t pay upfront, she provided cash loans they had to pay back with interest. Even though I know it’s serious, I couldn’t help but be a little proud of her business sense and ingenuity.
