Declining Tax Revenues Could Hurt Chicago Translation Service Providers

Yesterday, the mayor of Chicago, provided a gloomy economic outlook.  In fact, it will be nearly impossible for the city to raise the needed funds to keep many municipal workers and thus layoffs could be in the near future.  While tax rates will remain the same for Chicago Translation Service professionals, it remains likely that some city translators could soon be out of work.  This is because the city is already facing substantial budget that are approaching $600 million.  Further, because unemployment continues to rise the city will likely recognize reductions in revenue.  Daily provided an example of a new downtown hotel that recently held a job fair to recruit for 400 positions.  For these positions, more than 4,000 people turned out.
