I think I should refinance my house.

I was recently in the hospital. I do not have insurance, so I have a hospital bill that I will be required to pay. Since I was unable to work, I went a few weeks without a pay check. I think I should refinance my house. I can use some of the money to pay off my medical bills. I can use the rest to paybills that I will be unable to pay due to the temporary loss of income. If I do, I will also have a brief period of time in which a house payment will not be due. I will be able to get back on my feet and get over the effects that my illness has had.
