My husband and our 2 children have been reassigned to a position in South Africa. The company my husband is working for has really taken off and we have been tasked with opening a branch in Africa. We have always owned homes wherever we lived, but we have never moved out of the country. How do I go about getting information on home loans in South Africa? I do not even know who I should call to start the ball rolling. Is it even a good idea to purchase property there if we are not residents? Do I need to contact different professionals for each of my questions?
