Tips for Your Child’s First Solo Flight

Sending a child on his first plane ride can be quite unnerving, especially if he’ll travel alone between the boarding gates. Your child should be safe so long as a guardian escorts or picks him at the stops, though. The least you can do is to ensure he’ll travel light. Childrens travel accessories should be sturdy enough to survive the normal wear and tear of continued use. Opt for shoulder bags with plenty of straps to ensure your child hangs onto it during the trip. Don’t forget to charge all the batteries of his gadgets before you send him off, and stash the electronic devices and chargers in Ziploc bags to protect these from spills.
