Advantages Of A Personal Trainer

Have you ever used a personal trainer? I have a couple of times, though it was years ago. I had joined a gym, and as part of the membership, there were a couple of sessions with a personal trainer employed by the gym. I found it a good experience, and if I’d stayed motivated with going to the gym, I probably would have had some more sessions.

Motivation is the main problem with gym memberships, isn’t it. What stopped me initially was that I injured my knee. It was totally unrelated to the gym, I think. But having a period where I couldn’t go and work out really just ended my motivation to continue. Actually, at that stage, I probably should have hired a personal trainer!

Some of the best ones get you doing types of exercise that you normally wouldn’t, outside the gym. Like running and swimming. I think it’s good to vary the environment in which you work out. Actually, I had private yoga sessions for a while, and I have to say, I really enjoyed that. Come to think of it, I should go and do some yoga now. Really helps get rid of aches and headaches.
