I got more than a ‘nail do’ the last time I went to the beauty salon. Little did I know that I was taking home a fungus that had embedded itself on my nails. I first realized something was wrong when I sensed the region scratching eternally. I called up my family doctor and he said it could be a case of nail fungus, and it sure was. Luckily I had acted quickly so there was still time to put things under control. I later found out that the nail pliers used in removing the cuticle on my nail wasn’t sterilized.
