I have always picked patterns that didn’t require you to use buttons since I have never really gotten the hang of sewing button holes. Now I have just seen that some of the new sewing machines, like the CS6000I Brother Sewing Machine can do these for you in just one step. That really tempts me to get a new sewing machine, but mine still works well so it is hard to justify the expense right now. Maybe I will ask for it for my birthday. I can save my old machine for when my daughter gets a bit older so I can give it to her.
