Electronic Hearing Protection - A Must for Every Hunter or Shooter

I recently took up the hobby of skeet shooting, and made a rookie mistake my first day. I went out without any electronic hearing protection. I came home and my ears where ringing for three days. Every time I talked it sounded like I was underwater. By the second day I started to become worried that I had seriously and permanently damaged my hearing. I went to the doctor and he said that luckily it didn’t look like it was going to be permanent, but he did suggest that before I went out again I should invest in some sort of hearing protection. I purchased some immediately, and thankfully haven’t had that experience since.
