I gave my bedroom furniture to the family.

A fire recently broke out in my neighborhood. A family of five was left homeless, and they lost everything in their home. They didn’t have fire insurance either, so the losses are permanent. They will not be able to take a check from an insurance company and use the funds to replace their belongings. They are staying in a rental home right now. I know the family very well, and I feel so badly for them. I gave my bedroom furniture to the family. I was planning on buying a new bedroom set soon anyway, so I’ll just sleep on the couch tonight and buy the bedroom set, I’ve had my eye on, tomorrow.
