It is a simple fact of life, gas prices are going to continue to rise. There may come a time when it lowers for a little while, but lets face it, prices increase, not decrease, over time. However, there are developments of fuel alternatives being worked out every day, alternatives like Biodiesel Fuel, hydrogen fuel and ethanol.
Of these three fuels, it is my personal opinion that Biodiesel is going to be the first next great thing. The biggest reason is hydrogen is very slowly developing, the cost of ethanol is very nearly the same as petroleum based fuel, and Biodiesel is a clean source of fuel that does not come from our food supply.
