Bi-Plane Story

Growing up with a military man as a father, there were plenty of times that I would get educated on the numerous aircraft in the sky. The lessons did not stop even when we were at parties or large social functions. I remember one day my dad was pointing out different bi-planes that he read about in small aircraft reviews and I was curious about it myself. I remember asking my dad in a group of people why they called it a bi-plane. He stated because it has two wings. Much to my embarrassment I replied - “but Dad, all planes have two wings!”
