No distractions — please!

Whenever you are ready to begin to study the Bible daily, you need to make sure that you have gathered all of the necessary Bible study tools — it is also important to minimize any potential distractions. I don’t have the kids playing in the same room, or your husband or wife walk in the television while you are trying to study God’s Word. These things will distract you, your mind will wander and you are not going to get anything of value from your study time. When your kids were doing their homework you didn’t allow them to have any distractions — the same principle holds true when the Scriptures are being studied.
