Outdoor Family Tent Parties

Growing up on the lakes of Michigan boating was the activity of choice.  Recently, I got an idea that has long been done in boating.  Oftentimes, people would have large parties out on the lakes.  They would tie several pontoon boats together and there would be an instant party. 

 We recently took that same concept and applied it to camping.  Instead of using boats we used tents.  We went with several of our other family friends and put all of our tents right next to each other.  Four families seems to be ideal.  You can have a party play tent, a supply tent, a sleeping tent for the boys and separate one for the girls.  If you don’t mind coed you could also do one for the kids and one for the adults.  You’ll just have to use your own discretion and would probably depend on the age of the kids.  

We’ve founds this to be a great way to keep things organized and have a great time.
