Three Test Taking Tips

The following test taking tips will help boost your score on that next test or exam.

1. Sleep well. Get a decent amount of sleep the night before a test, but good quality sleep may be more important.

2. Drink coffee. Studies show that a small cup of coffee before an academic exam can boost scores. Don’t overdo this though, or you may find yourself feeling anxious and distracted.

3. Guess on multiple choice tests. Unless you are penalized for wrong answers you should guess on any multiple choice questions. Often you can eliminate one or two of the obviously wrong answers and so get half of your guesses right.
