Let’s face it, we have all heard that there are some serious misconceptions about muscle growth out there. Unfortunately, many people fall into this trap and stunt their growth. One of the most common misconceptions is using heavy weights. This is not always the case. It is important to gradually get into a regime of lifting weights and to gradually increase the amount of weights you carry. Another common myth is the “3 day cycle”, it takes more than three days a week to create a regime, however if you do not religiously train three days a week, you will not suddenly shrink.
