How to buy a camcorder: Use a digital camcorder review

I have been considering upgrading my digital camera. The newer models allow you to take video footage which would definitely be handy for capturing those precious moments. I am not particularly knowledgeable on these devices so I turned to a friend for some advice. He suggested that I use a digital camcorder review to learn more about the available makes and models. So far his suggestion has been a good one. I have been able to narrow down my choice to a camera that is big on features and very reasonable on price. Without using a review I would definitely have been confused by all the options that are presented.
